Indulging in the vibrant atmosphere of downtown used to be synonymous with savoring a delicious meal for me. The moment that forever etched in my memory was my first visit to the "Grand Place" in Brussels, where a delightful vanilla aroma enveloped me. Intrigued, I followed my nose to a waffle spot and took my first bite. The waffle, crisp on the outside and delightfully soft inside, marked the beginning of my love for this iconic dessert.

With 22 years spent in Belgium, I've traversed a waffle-filled journey. Let me share my story about waffles, but first, a little detour: there are different kinds of waffles from Brussels, from Liège... and the one we're focusing on is the internationally renowned Liège waffle. Now, back to my story!

Waffles, a year-round delight, defy weather constraints in their popularity. Whether it's chilly or warm outside, they remain a constant joy. Traditionally enjoyed as plain waffles with sugar pearls, today's waffles come customized with Belgian chocolate, fruits, and an array of toppings. From ice cream to whipped cream, the possibilities are as diverse as your taste buds. People are drawn to waffles for their distinctive vanilla flavor and a texture that stands apart in the world of pastries.

Upon moving to Greenville, I saw an opportunity to bring the joy of Belgian waffles to this diverse community. After delving into market research, I discovered Americans' fondness for Belgian waffles, albeit with limited awareness of the various types hailing from Belgium.

What I created was a mobile waffle bar – a haven where people can either savor their waffles on-site or opt for a quick take-out. While I may be new to the world of waffles, my background in the restaurant industry equips me with a solid understanding of customer preferences. Quality, speed, and convenience are paramount, and I am committed to delivering just that.
